Discover Live Musical Performances All Summer!

Summer is nearly back, so make your plans now to visit one of the most spectacular summer locations on the planet... the Little Traverse Bay area of northwestern Michigan. The last two summers while the rest of the country has sweltered under record heat, Bay View has remained temperate and refreshingly cool. This, when combined with an incredible festival season with over 50 public events and an invigorating Chautauqua environment, means you'll be surrounded by 8 weeks of world-class repertoire ranging from classical to pops, and from jazz to opera.

This year, we offer an exciting blend of different visiting artists to balance the nearly nightly entertainment provided by the Bay View faculty and college musicians who are studying with us throughout the summer. This season will include: Blood Sweat and Tears featuring American Idol finalist Bo Bice classical-crossover superstars from Time For Three the Tony-award winning musical Les Miserables will take the Bay View stage in July, we'll feature the US debut of the hot Dublin- based band Moxie and a tribute to the testosterone-powered boy bands from the 50's to today with The Doo Wop Project, and a host of other talented performers for an inspiring summer of great music. This, combined with faculty artist chamber music concerts every Wednesday night and our Sunday pops series at 8pm and you've got plenty of options to enjoy after a long day on the boat. Tickets will be available on or before May 1, so check back!
