Countdown to Summer... Almost There
Summer is back, so make your plans now to visit one of the most spectacular summer locations on the planet... the Little Traverse Bay area of northwestern Michigan. Featuring an incredible festival season with over 50 public events and an invigorating Chautauqua environment of the Bay View campus, you'll be surrounded by 8 weeks of world-class repertoire ranging from classical to pops, and from jazz to opera.
Between the 100th anniversary of John M. Hall Auditorium, our historically relevant production of Ragtime in July and the Spirituals Intensive preceding it, we celebrate the diversity of humankind this summer in music both instrumental and vocal. Thd Bay View Music Festival, as just one program area of the Bay View Association, features over 30 professional faculty artists, over 100 collegiate musicians, four major pops concerts including The Rascals, Second City, and the Soul of the 70's, just to name a few! Come experience the magically creative environment that has existed just outside of Petoskey for well over 100 years! You. Are. Welcome.
